Leveraging External DCHP servers in CloudStack

CloudStack implements guest networks using Virtual Router to provide various services to guest vms in both isolated and shared networks. Some of the services like VPN, NAT, Firewall and Loadbalancing can be provided using external service providers like Juniper SRX, F5 and Netscalar instead of Virtual Router. However there was no way to implement DHCP,DNS service other than Virtual Router until Cloudstack 4.5 release. In ACS4.6 we are implementing a way to bypass Virtual Router by supporting DCHP and DNS services external to CS so as to avoid VR creation to save resources on hypervisor(Otherwise shared network creation with just dhcp, dns and userdata services requires VR creation on CS host). In the absence of VR these services (user data , password reset and ssh key reset functionalities) to guest vms can be implemented using config drive which is similar to open stack config drive.
