Rethinking Cloud Security – The Infected Chaos Monkey, Traffic Manipulation, Visibility and Guest Introspection

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

We will examine the attacker’s view of a cloud with state-of-the-art security installed, and present the Infected Chaos Monkey, a new open source tool for evaluating cloud’s security resilience.
We will present new concepts that harvest the programmability and agility of CloudStack to re-think security inside clouds, by manipulating traffic at the hypervisor level. We will demonstrate the use of guest introspection to achieve visibility, find infected servers and clean them in real-time.
In the technical session, we will release an Infected Chaos Monkey inside a CloudStack environment, visualize it’s spread, and demonstrate real-time detection and remediation.
